The Mississauga Junior Chiefs began thseason at the Union College Fall Fest this weekend. The first game was played Friday against the Troy/Albany IceCats. The Jr. Chiefs played a strong game winning 9-0.

The second game was against a strong London Jr. Devilettes squad. It

was a close game all the way through with strong goaltending

on both sides. The London Juniors came away with a 1-0 vistory.

Saturday evening saw the Junior Chiefs face the California Wave. The California goalie really kept the game close but the Junior Chiefs won the game 3-1.

The Mississauga squad then faced a very strong Stoney Creek Junior Sabre team Sunday morning in the Semi-finals of the tournament. The Stoney Creek team proved to be tough opponents coming away with a 4-2 victory over the Chiefs.

This tournament was a great warm-up for the Mississauga Junior Chiefs and the tournament organizers did a fantastic job. We are all really looking forward

to Stoney Creek Showcase.

Thanks to everyone involved in the 2007 Golf Tournament. It was a great success and from all reports a great time was had by all.
